How to fill an EDF: field-by-field preparation guide
Use documentary facts for exporter, customer, invoice, currency and receipt fields. Final field labels and declaration wording depend on the prescribed form and authority.
What to do
Start with the exporter name and address exactly as supported by records. Add the AD bank, invoice details and actual service description. Record receipt references only if known. Review client spelling, dates and currency codes against source documents. Use the field-help tool for explanations and leave authority-only acknowledgement areas to the authority.
A draft can show a payment as pending rather than inventing a remittance reference.
Avoid this mistake
Do not fill a certification, acceptance stamp or signature field on behalf of the bank or authority.
Keep a clear record
Retain the underlying invoice or accepted statement, supporting correspondence and any acknowledgement from the designated authority or authorised-dealer bank. The tools here prepare information; only the appropriate authority can confirm acceptance, extension or closure.
