EDF supporting documents: a practical checklist
There is no single verified bank-specific document list for every transaction. A useful preparation bundle makes identity, export and receipt facts traceable.
What to do
Collect contract or service evidence, invoices or accepted earnings statements, exporter details, customer details and remittance evidence if already paid. Add fee or refund explanations and previous export references where relevant. Ask the AD whether it also needs KYC, IEC or an authority-specific declaration for your case.
For a consulting receipt, the invoice, agreement and bank reference often answer different parts of the bank’s review.
Avoid this mistake
Do not upload sensitive documents to an unofficial tool solely to obtain a checklist.
Keep a clear record
Retain the underlying invoice or accepted statement, supporting correspondence and any acknowledgement from the designated authority or authorised-dealer bank. The tools here prepare information; only the appropriate authority can confirm acceptance, extension or closure.
Is this an official instruction from my bank?
No. This is independent educational guidance. Use the linked primary sources and ask your bank for its current process and written confirmation.
Can the website file my EDF?
No. Your inputs stay in your browser. Downloads are preparation documents and must be reviewed before use through an official channel.
