Google AdSense income: what to collect before asking about EDF

The practical answer

AdSense earnings require an assessment of the contracting payee, underlying service and receipt route. A Google payout does not create an automatic filing answer.

What to do

Retain the applicable account payee and payment-profile details, statements, payout period and bank credit reference. Determine which entity pays you under the account terms rather than assuming a country from the Google brand. Ask the AD about exporter status and how it accepts revenue statements when there is no ordinary client invoice.

A worked example

A personal publisher and an incorporated media business can have different contracting contexts even when both receive advertising revenue.

Avoid this mistake

Do not invent an invoice number or classify every Google payment as one fixed service category.

Keep a clear record

Retain the underlying invoice or accepted statement, supporting correspondence and any acknowledgement from the designated authority or authorised-dealer bank. The tools here prepare information; only the appropriate authority can confirm acceptance, extension or closure.
