PayPal or Payoneer receipts: preparing an EDF enquiry

The practical answer

Platform settlement data can help trace a receipt, but platform use alone does not determine EDF applicability or complete a declaration.

What to do

Download transaction-level statements from your account. Separate gross customer revenue, platform deductions, currency conversion and the final bank credit. Identify the invoice issuer and underlying overseas customer where available. Ask the provider for the evidence available for that settlement route, then ask your AD how it wants batch references represented.

A worked example

Three invoices in a platform payout need a reconciliation showing which amounts and fees produced the single bank credit.

Avoid this mistake

Do not invent a customer address or inward-remittance certificate number when a payout report lacks it.

Keep a clear record

Retain the underlying invoice or accepted statement, supporting correspondence and any acknowledgement from the designated authority or authorised-dealer bank. The tools here prepare information; only the appropriate authority can confirm acceptance, extension or closure.

Is this an official instruction from my bank?

No. This is independent educational guidance. Use the linked primary sources and ask your bank for its current process and written confirmation.

Can the website file my EDF?

No. Your inputs stay in your browser. Downloads are preparation documents and must be reviewed before use through an official channel.
